Dingestow Village ShopThe main responsibility of the Council is to represent the views and concerns of local people to other authorities and public bodies. The County Council is required to consult the Community Council on matters concerning the delivery of council services within the Community Council's area. In particular the Local Planning Authority (Monmouthshire County Council) must consult the Community Council on any planning applications within the Mitchel Troy United area. The Community Council should also be advised of licensing applications in the area.
